EUGENE AIRPORT GALLERY and WHITE LOTUS GALLERY

Dee’s piece below, Uneventful Days, was juried into two exhibitions: The Eugene Airport Gallery’s 2026 show, “Fruit of Our Labors,” and White Lotus Gallery’s 2023 show, “Food Is…,” which was a fundraising exhibition supporting Food for Lane County.

The original copyright-free apple image for this piece was obtained from the Biodiversity Heritage Library. Many of the textures in the piece were accessed from the Smithsonian Institution Digital Collection. While creating this piece (without using AI), it was Dee’s intention to explore the juxtaposition between the apple forms, color and scale.

The framed work measures 12” x 20”x 1”. The print was commercially printed using archival inks and the highest quality archival paper.
