This piece, Reemerge, was juried into The Giusinta Gallery’s 2025 summer exhibition titled, Personal Mythology. The Giustina Gallery — located in The LaSells Stewart Center on the campus of Oregon State University — invited artists to explore the inner narratives, archetypes, and symbolic language that shape their personal identity and creative vision. From spiritual iconography and ancestral stories to imagined worlds and inner demons, this exhibition will exhibit work that transforms the deeply personal into the profoundly universal. Artist, Dee Etzwiler, created this piece as an expression of her life journey. This work incorporates a copyright-free image of Edgar Degas’ “Little Dancer, Aged Fourteen.”
