NINKASI BREWING CO.
Dee collaborated with Ninkasi Brewing Company to create a Narrative Collage that expresses the craft of brewing beer, as well as Ninkasi’s values which include community, recycling and regionalism. This piece incorporates scientific references such as a scientific equation, an atomic diagram, and gestural drawings of test tubes. This piece also includes realistic and symbolic imagery: maps, photographs, gestural lines, and text. The completed, digital image was commercially printed on canvas using archival, pigment inks and is installed in Ninkai’s Headquarters (Eugene, OR). This work measures 60” x 144” x 2”.
