CLAY SPACE
a+a Studio artist, Dee Etzwiler, was commissioned by The Arts and Business Alliance of Eugene to create a work of art that was presented to Clay Space, an art center and ceramic facility in Eugene, OR. Dee’s art — a Narrative Collage — recognizes the partnership between Clay Space and those who use the facility who produce and donate thousands of hand-crafted bowls for an annual fundraiser that benefits hunger relief in Lane County, Oregon. This Narrative Collage includes an array of imagery associated with Clay Space, ceramic arts, and the creation of ceramic bowls. This piece was printed on fine art paper using pigment inks and measures 16” x 20”.
